The latest Cyprus Internet usage statistics show continued growth of the Internet in Cyprus.

In June 2010 the picture was:

• Total Cyprus population: 1,102,677
• Total Cyprus Internet users: 433,000, 39.3% of total
• Total Cyprus Facebook users: 299,040, 27.1% of total

This contrasts with the UK where the picture was:

• Total UK population: 62,348,447
• Total UK Internet users: 51,442,100, 82.5 % of total
• Total UK Facebook users: 27,806,860, 44.6% of total

Cyprus is still very much the land of opportunity for the Internet and e-commerce.
